The National Greeley Art Exhibit and Sale 2018 will be staged in the lobby of the beautiful Union Colony Civic Center (UCCC) in Greeley Colorado April 26-29, 2018. During this time a Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra concert has been scheduled bringing a large audience viewing YOUR art! This will be our 52nd year of staging the National Greeley Art Exhibit and Sale (NGAE) which funds scholarships for art students in Weld County.
Reception. A celebration reception for all artists and supporting patrons will be held at the UCCC Thursday, April 26th from 5:00-8:00pm.
ELIGIBILITY & REQUIREMENTS
Open to all artists who create original fine art in all media, including painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, mixed media, and ceramics. All entries must be clearly identified, priced for sale, must have been created within the last 3 years, and be original works of art, not copied from other artists or published materials or with assistance from other artists. Giclees are not eligible. Art must be framed and completely prepared for hanging with wire, no saw tooth hangers and no exposed glass edges. Gallery wrapped canvas with painted edges and plaque mounted art are accepted. No three-dimensional pieces will be attached to floor or suspended from ceiling.
Accepted entries must match the accepted digital images, or they will be disqualified. Prices listed on the entry form may not be changed. Your entry into the exhibit signifies a commitment to send the art that is accepted. By not sending an accepted work you are denying another artist the opportunity to be included in the exhibit. If you do not send an accepted entry you will be ineligible to enter future NGAE Exhibitions as determined by the NGAE Board.
Bin Art. If your work has been accepted for the show, you may also submit 5 bin items of flat work, matted and suitably protected with shrink wrap or clear acetate bag.
